One of the true pleasures I enjoy is scuba diving, and combining this with photography makes it just perfect. I have not been able to dive much lately, but here are a few shots from my archives. Underwater is a whole new world, and the reefs, wrecks and other tropical sea life are abundant in Barbados' waters, and pollution threatens to destroy much of the beauty you see here (just a reminder for all of us to be environmentally responsible). I hope you enjoy this peek into my underwater world.

I enjoyed your photos. My grandfather was William Gittens. He was born in Barbados and eventually ended up in New Zealand, where I live. Maybe we are related in some way.
